- Life long learning skills: information media literacy, communication skills, team building, thinking and problem solving skills, and interpersonal and self-directional skills.
- 21st century job skills: aptitude in information and communication technologies, critical thinking, creativity and moral use of technology.
- Context in what they learn: learning through real-world examples where students are engaged in relevant and meaningful experiences.
- Modern day content: focus on global awareness, economic and business competency and civic responsibility.
