About My Class! I am assigned three Social Studies classes and three Science courses. Each class is a 90 minute block. Everyday we follow an agenda that reviews the learning objective, state standard, essential question and reflection question. We review prior information and vocabulary before attending to the lesson. Lessons are modified according to ability level and accommodations. My goal is for students each day to achieve the learning objective and get ready for High School.

What I do each week
What I do each day |
First I review the week's prior lessons and reflect. Then I review my curriculum map for pacing and power standards. Afterwards, I construct formal lesson plans and assignments. In addition, I plan out my calendar for the week and update my grade book. Finally, I ensure all the materials are ready to go.
Each day I arrive before my scheduled time of 8: 50 am. Review my lessons for the day and ensure the lessons are available in Google classroom. Then check my email and take care of any pressing concerns. Later, I greet my students in the Gymnasium and walk them to class. Next, I supervise students while they gather their belongings and prepare for class. After lunch, I supervise the stairway for the boys as they return. At the end of the school day I supervise students as they are being released. Then I update reflection log of the day's events, and lessons.
